HexaLock[]

Hexalock is a copy protection scheme that uses pre-compiled authentication keys to protect data before it is pressed or burned onto a Cd or a Dvd. Using their copy protection suite of tools a user can generate these specific and unique keys and then using special HexaLock disks, this information can be added to a Cd or Dvd outside of a drives range of data reading and can render any made copies useless as the decryption algorithms are not reachable by the drive head.

Another way that HexaLock attempts to thwart crackers is that by using a similar protection scheme on different batches of disks containing the same program, this will ensure that there are no one method fits all ways for everyone to use the same crack to bypass the protection.

The Copy Protection Components: 1.The publisher selects one or more program files from the Utility dropdown menu. 2.The replicator automatically arms these files thus creating a matrix of independent locks and adds a set of elements to the CD-ROM. 3.Multiple Program files can be locked.

Types of Files[]

Traditionally only exe files and dll files are protected on many commercial disks. However with HexaLock a new level of protection is being implemented that not only protects those basic files, but also the following formats:
