Author Albert Laszlo Barabasi's work explores networks, placing the buzz about internet networks in the lerger context of economic networks, biological networks, terrorist networks and in general the increased tendency to see a number of systems and structures in terms of their "network organization." Barabasi's version of network theory focuses on the "hubs" (ie the popular internet sites that draw much more traffic than the typical website) and their role in the growth of any particular network.
