What's new, new media?

Wikipedia, developed in 2001, is the largest example of a working Wiki. It was the brainchild of Wiki-pioneers Jimmy Wales and Larry Sanger. As of December 2007, Wikipedia featured around 9.25 million articles in over 253 languages, equaling a combined total of over 1.74 billion words within the Wikipedias of all the different languages combined. Wikipedia's content is the collaborative effort of millions of volunteers from across the world. Wikipedia's articles all push for factualness and Net Neutrality.
